Well in a day of social media, making new friends, following idols, tweeting, poking, tagging its all normality nowadays.Normality to the point it takes over peoples lives.Take Facebook for instance a relationship is not official unless its on Facebook for the whole world to see what happened to just using word of mouth instead of technology?Another one is I saw it on Facebook as well as the rest of the world so it must be true.Drawback of Facebook?Have you ever done a search on your idols and theres 200 plus accounts of them all fake and you sit there wondering are your lives that empty you have to pretend to be someone?Have you thought about the statuses you put up that fans believe it and then take it to twitter? Some people seriously need to get a life and enjoy being who they are and not do these fake accounts.Mind you theres some lovely pictures on these accounts but thats a whole different story!
Twitter, well, what can I say?Legal stalking, following and drama!!OH THE DRAMA!!Possessive people, jealousy even hate.I can never understand some peoples minds,I'll even go as far to say I understand an autistic mind more than some other people.Mind you the good thing about twitter they have a lovely follow button which turns blue when you press it and its so easy to block as well!Another good thing with twitter your idols accounts are verified with a nice blue tick.Wonder why twitter chose blue out of all the colour spectrum?Maybe someone can tell me?
Now the drama oh how we dread drama on twitter!People get very jealous and obsessive over their idols,to the point they are literally stalking them in real life trying to get attention 24/7 then hating on other people because they get attention or don't conform to what they're doing.Social Media can also be an open ground for bullying which is the lowest of the low.The way i see it,idealistic point of view I know, everyone should be happy if they get to meet their idols, they are not a possession that you can decide who sees them or tweets them. They are on twitter to share things with fans and majority love it when they do.Then again you always get a handful of people that spoil it for everyone else shame really. The only people that own their idols are their management companies and their families.
I would hate to be famous seriously my phone would be learning to fly and gaining a pilot license if i was famous and on twitter.Thats probably why twitter has the option of turning your mentions off think mine would probably be permanently off!Idols must cringe at times when they go through their mentions or read everyones timelines.I forget sometimes that twitter is so open and the whole world can read what you write.Whats the worse that can happen?Block me?Unfollow? No great loss if people do that, could think of worse things to cry over in real life which I have done believe me!
Must admit some people can get very emotional if you unfollow or block, to me thats freedom of choice.Everyone is allowed choices in life no matter who you are think some people forget that.Twitter does take over lives people do get attached to social media (must admit I love a good tweeting session and creeping on profiles)to the point they feel victimised because you don't follow get a grip, have a look at your life and then you'll find the solution!I do admit I have my twitter family.I'm very close to them and they are my world and i won't let anyone bully them.I have spoke to some lovely genuine people from Europe and UK.I would do anything for these people and hope to be lifelong friends with these people.Anyway socialmedia take it as you will but remember there is life beyond a screen and dont be so emotional if you're unfriended etc.
