I am talking about the dance crew Diversity,led by Ashley Banjo.A dance crew that blew everyone away worldwide an Essex/London based crew who started entering street dance battles.Some of the history is quite hard to get hold of from when they formed Menace and Swift Moves but if you go on YouTube you will see a lot of early competitions before they became so world famous.
Before BGT they won several Jump Off competitions battling hard and winning.These people have the most unique moves from Mitch coming out of a bag (bless him)to Perri being thrown around (I wouldn't like that,imagine the motion sickness).After winning several comps they entered BGT.
Britains Got Talent is a major thing in the UK and to me Diversity blew all the rules out the water.In their audition their performance was out of this world BUT one judge had doubts ie Piers Morgan as he preferred Flawless.Diversity had that edge and moves that many people hadn't seen or thought of!In the final,well they proved Piers wrong!!So many people love proving him wrong let me tell you.It was THE most nail biting final to date.I don't think any other act has caused that much emotion,nail biting final ever.The winning Routine blew everyone away,completed with a standing ovation from the audience,judges and probably everyone at home.Diversity ended up in the final three.I wonder how much money the bookies lost that night?Finally Diversity won a moment they will never forget.That was in 2009.
Britain Got Talent changed Diversity life for the better.They broke into the mainstream so everyone could learn their moves.Numerous TV interviews they were and still are in demand!How many people can say they have performed outside 10 Downing Street in front of Gordon Brown?Even if Perri did fall bless him.Diversitoys cam along thanks to the creative mind of Ashley and the boys.Very unique and extremely clever and imaginative all part of three concepts of Da Vinci's code.Toys that come to life.Digitized wow the second concept so mind blowing out of this world.Get the DVD and you will see why they sold out 02 Arena.SEcret street crew,Ashley's motto anyone can dance.Yes anyone can dance with Ashley and DV teaching you wouldn't skip class with these.YOU would be taking everything in they are teaching.Got to Dance,Ultimate Block Party all with the same thing anyone can dance if you put your mind heart and soul into it.
With Diversity what strikes me the most apart from the dancing good looks etc is how humble they are.They remain so humble to their fans and are always thankful and grateful to all their fans.This is very rare in people that are so famous and its an amazing quality to have.To me you should never forget where you come from in life.Diversity are like a family that you have watched grow in the last few years and still growing.You are a part of their achievments and you feel that bond between them all in their routines and shows.They have grown so much and yet stay so humble and loyal to their fans.Stardom,success and fame hasn't changed them at all.Its true success comes and goes but loyalty and family will always be there and you never forget that.
Diversity are doing another arena tour at the end of the year,Limitless is the third concept and I can't imagine what they are going to do for this.Diversity are one of those groups that come along once in a lifetime and know how to blow your mind and yet still stay true to themselves,family and their talent.Diversity you have inspired so many people worldwide and we are touched,blessed and humbl to be a part of your success and watching you grow for many years to come.Thankyou
